# BoxCompute > BoxCompute gives AI agents their own Linux computers in the cloud, hosted in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. Connect your own agent, such as Claude, Codex, Cursor or Claude Code, through the MCP server, sandbox API, CLI, and SDKs, or chat with the BoxCompute agent and it does the work on its own VM. BoxCompute is an AI agent sandbox provider based in Malaysia. - Regions: Cyberjaya, Malaysia (online). Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Australia: coming soon. - Sandboxes: full Linux VMs on KubeVirt with root access. Small is 0.5 vCPU and 1 GiB of RAM; Large is 1.5 vCPU and 3 GiB; with Starter, XL is 4 vCPU and 8 GiB and XXL is 4 to 8 vCPU and 16 GiB. Each has a 30 GiB root disk by default. - Pricing: billed by the second while a VM runs, about $0.05 an hour for Small, $0.15 for Large, $0.40 for XL and $0.80 for XXL. Stopped VMs cost nothing. Pay as you go: add $5 to $500 of credit at a time with no subscription; it pays for VM time only and never expires. Starter is $15.99 a month with $40 of monthly credit for the first 30 members, a larger AI allowance for the BoxCompute agent, and every VM running at once. - Free: sign up at https://app.boxcompute.ai/signup for $5 of compute credit valid for 14 days, no card required. Free accounts get the BoxCompute agent with a daily AI allowance, with a limit on chats and VMs running at once. - Your own agent over MCP: add https://mcp.boxcompute.ai/mcp to Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another MCP client, sign in or use an API key, and it can create VMs, run commands, edit files and open preview URLs. Its AI is billed by your own provider; BoxCompute bills only VM time. Setup: https://boxcompute.ai/docs/mcp/ - Your own agent in code: the same VMs through the HTTP API, CLI and TypeScript/Python SDKs, plus LangGraph, CrewAI, Mastra, Pi and Hermes integrations. - BoxCompute agent: chat at https://app.boxcompute.ai and the agent works on its own VM: installs software, runs apps, shares live preview links, and uses a browser desktop. - Enterprise: Agentic VMs on your own infrastructure or cloud account. ## Pages - [Home](https://boxcompute.ai/): product overview, pricing and FAQ - [Pricing](https://boxcompute.ai/pricing/): Start free with $5 of credit, no card required.
